In the Summer of 2022, Nathan Beverage collaborated with Cincinnati-based fashion designer Kyle Schilling to create a one-minute experimental dance beat for a fashion video, purely out of recorded sounds of denim and leather. After Nathan recorded as many sounds with the garments as he could, he fed the recordings through a tape machine to achieve an authentic tape effect that fits the vintage-aesthetic of the fashion piece. Then he chopped everything up and digitally manipulated the recordings to create the finished product.
