In the fall of 2022, Nathan Beverage rescored a scene from the CW television series Stargirl as part of a film scoring course at the College-Conservatory of Music. He then had the opportunity to have his original cue read and recorded by the CCM Concert Orchestra. This scene was originally provided as part of the Spitfire Audio film scoring competition, however, the competition had already finished by the time Nathan rescored the scene, and therefore it wasn’t included as an entry. The cue begins very heroic, evoking the classic orchestral scores from the golden-age of Hollywood, but quickly transforms to something much more sinister in the second half.
